Abstract
In a Wireless sensor network, considering the limited power of sensors battery, it is possible for nodes to damage during spreading for a large number of nodes. In such a network, the nodes are energy constrained and cannot be recharged again. Therefore, it is clear that the optimal protocols are required to reduce the energy consumption and increase the lifetime. One of the methods in this area is the placement of additive relay nodes. The node placement problem is a NP-hard problem and it is solved using some different optimization methods. In this article, it is tried to choose optimal locations for additive sensors using gravitational optimization algorithm. The results show that the network lifetime is increased if the proposed method is used Compared to the previous algorithm.
