Abstract
In this paper, real time control of a three-phase induction motor in a computerized approach is implemented. Advantech 1710HG data acquisition card is used to work as an A/D interface, connecting the practical test bench to a computer. The test bench contains a three-phase induction motor and inverter (Omron V1000 drive) together with voltage and current transducer. Before the practical test is performed, a MATLAB® Simulink simulation is performed. Thereafter, an HWIL (Hardware in the loop) structure is established. In this configuration, Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) digital control is done through MATLAB® Simulink environment. Simulation result together with practical test confirms the performance of artificial digital control controller.
