  • Abstract
Changes are imminent in the energy sector for a sustainable future. The word sustainability itself has been broadly defined to cover both economic and social goals and the business case for energy sustainability in this larger context has been made. Some of the promising technologies are briefly outlined in this paper. A brief overview which follows is by no means exhaustive, and represents just examples of the technology-related issues.
