  • Abstract
With the growing contradiction between environmental pollution and energy utilization patterns, people pay more attention to the combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) microgrid, which is based on gas turbine and renewable energy sources. This paper investigated the optimization operation of a grid-connected CCHP microgrid, which consists of gas turbines, PVs, WTs, waste heat boilers, absorption refrigerating machines, electricity storage devices, and heat storage devices. The algorithm of chaotic partial swarm is used to determine the optimal operational condition of the CCHP microgrid. A numerical case study is carried out to illustrate the feasibility and accuracy of the adopted method. The simulation results show that the gas turbine almost supply the entire power load, which brings both economic and environmental benefits. In addition, the heat storage devices can also coordinate with the gas turbines to determine the optimal outputs, and consequently reducing energy losses and operational costs.
