Abstract :
The 3-DOF deflection type motor can realize multiple-DOF motions and greatly simplify the mechanical structure of motor while improving the response speed and the positioning accuracy of transmission systems. The magnetic levitation operation mode can greatly alleviate the operation performance especially on the bearing. The three-dimensional analytical model of the air gap between the rotor and stator is established under rotor eccentricity conditions. Then, the air-gap flux density, radial electromagnetic forces are calculated and presented based on finite element simulation. The experiment and calculation results show that the presented scheme can effectively enhance operation performance and realize the magnetic levitation applications.
