Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the parameters of parasitic element to increase IF output level of self-oscillating mixer using GaAs FET. The parasitic element acts as an electromagnetic array coupled antenna. The shape and placement of the antenna element are optimised experimentally to maximize the coupling between the antenna and self-oscillating mixer.
