IEEE Young Professionals EMC

IEEE EMC Young Professionals activities were well attended at this year´s EMC Symposium in Raleigh, North Carolina. We had karaoke, dancing while sipping Faraday Cage and Maxwell Silver Hammer cocktails at Coglin´s Bar with over 60 Young Professionals on Tuesday night, August 5. The night went on with Gangnam Style and Harlem Shake demonstrations along with the discovery of great singers among us. The next day, we had 25 people at a luncheon with the presentation ???What´s the Point of a Standard??? by Alistair Duffy. The luncheon went well and the presentation was followed with many questions, including on why certain standards require a particular setting while others do not. Let´s not forget the happy big raffle winners, Giorgi Maghlakelidze with a set of noise cancellation headphones and Jason Pelletier with a Camera Ion Air Pro. The raffle was the highlight of two great Young Professionals events.
