Abstract

Mode converters, TE₁₀^□→TE₀₁^⊙ for power input coupling and TE₀₁^O&lrhar2;TE₀₂^O for mode selection and beam-wave interaction, have been designed, manufactured, and characterized, and an input coupler has been formed for a Ka band harmonic multiplying gyro-amplifier. Good experimental results have been obtained.
