  • Abstract
This paper investigates spiral printed antennas incorporating shorting posts to reduce the physical size. The proposed antennas (single and dual spiral) are significantly smaller than a conventional shorted patch antenna and are therefore very suited to applications where limited antenna size is a premium. The performance of the new printed antennas are studied experimentally with their return loss and far field radiation patterns presented here
