Color based multi directional local motif XoR patternsfor image retrieval

A new procedure called Color Based Multi-directional Local Motif XoR Patterns (CMDLMXoRP) to index and retrieve image is presented in the paper. Here, joint correlation between directional smart grids is proposed. First, the required directional information is calculated. In the next stage, smart grid XOR patterns are applied to generate transformed smartgrid images in four directions. This entire operation is implemented on `V´ color space of HSV color plane. The retrieval capacity of our descriptor (CMDLMXoRP) is recorded by performing tests on standard datasets. A considerable increase is noticed in the outcome of our setup surpassing other similar methods in the field.
