Abstract
This paper presents the performance of microstrip line on 50 um-thick LCP substrate at the frequency bands (0-70 GHz) and (220-330 GHz). Characteristic impedance, effective dielectric constants and losses with different widths of microstrip lines are extracted from measured S-parameters and full-wave simulation. The total losses of microstrip lines are less than 0.9 dB/mm at 300 GHz. It is found that LCP substrate can be used for circuit and antenna components design at 300 GHz band.
