Abstract
The hot swap problem introduced by mechanical design is addressed in this paper and a new solution approach is proposed to the common problem in distributed power systems with parallel DC/DC power converters. A simplified theoretical analysis for the failure mechanism is also presented. The experiments based on a 300 W prototype with 5 V and 3.3 V outputs are implemented, and the experimental results agree with the theoretical analysis
