Abstract
Reliability modeling and evaluation turns to be tricky as a result of relevant failures among NC machine tool components especially in complex system. In traditional way of reliability modeling, relevant failures have been neglected supposing that failures are independent, which would decline reliability evaluation. In this paper, based on reliability model with independent failure of components, considering single directed effect between failures, combined with directed diagram and of relevant failures and frequency matrix, until comprehensive reliability function model is set up. Finally, taking test data at the scene as example to introduce specific application of this method, comparing with two reliability functions, one is from failure series, and the other is from failure independent, the method is proved to be effective and practical.
