Abstract
This article consists of a collection of slides from the author´s conference presentation on exploiting processor heteogeneity through reconfigurable interactions. Some of the specific topics discussed include: the value of being able to compose solutions from a collection of heterogeneous components; constraints upon how components interact to improve interoperability; ways in which FPGAs can complement other chip-level processor technologies; examples of various companies digital video and image processing products, including Ampex Digital Optics, Datacube Inc. and Mercury Computer Systems Inc.
