  • Abstract
    Wrinkles exist extensively in space membrane structures, which is one of the main factors affecting the performance of structures. In order to improve the electrical and mechanical properties of space membrane structure. It is important to predict the details of wrinkles, and to design a reasonable controller to reduce the wrinkles. This paper presents a numerical analysis method to predict the amplitude of the membrane wrinkles by introducing the slow varying Fourier series. An iteration control method is proposed to reduce wrinkles and finite element method is used to analyze the wrinkle´s details. Simulation results show that the amplitudes of wrinkles are reduced with the proposed method.
