Abstract :
Due to the great advantage in lighting and decoration, neon lamps that play a significant role in our daily life are widely utilized. Most researches of neon lamp system concentrate on the luminescence characteristic and discharge performance, paying little attention to the electromagnetic radiation. Therefore, this paper contributes to it and carries out a research on the electromagnetic radiation of neon lamp system in the real environment. Under three different conditions, the experiment is performed in the Semi Anechoic Chamber (SAC). The experimental results demonstrate the radiation performance of neon lamp system. And they indicate that the radiated disturbance of neon lamp system in abnormal status may exceed the reference limits and cause harmful interference to other systems. At last, suggestions for guaranteeing the electromagnetic security of neon lamp systems are given.
