Abstract :
In cognitive radio network (CRN), the utilization of spectrum resource can be dramatically improved with the secondary user (SU) opportunistically access the licensed channels. However, how to allocate the spectrum holes to each SU with the least influence on primary user (PU) appropriately. In order to estimate the packet delay in the multimedia over CRN and optimize the QoS performance of the whole system, we propose a novel spectrum sharing scheme based on S-ALOHA system. And then we analyze the probability of PUs occupying the licensed channel once again using the discrete Markov model. Moreover we consider the delay and throughput to describe the performance of multimedia transmission, and propose a dynamic algorithm to generate an optimal packet allocation strategy for each packet with the maximum utility function value. In the simulation part, we study the utility function value after packet loading over each licensed channel.
