Abstract :
In order to present a new solar power generation system design, this paper describes a grid-connected generation model composed by a Dish Stirling (DS) engine, permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG), AC/DC converter, DC bus and DC/AC inverter. A detailed modeling is developed that considers all solar, thermal, mechanical and electrical parts of the system and implemented in MATLAB/Simulink. The developed model of the Dish Stirling engine design is examined at Sfax (34° 44´ 26" North, 10° 45´ 37" East) location in Tunisia. The dynamic performance of solar DSPMSG systems are designed for different systems disturbances such as radiation variation and temperature involving a change in the engine speed. The model simulation shows that, using a Voltage Source Converter (SGSC, NSC), voltage vector and PQ control strategies, gives a good response of the solar power system connected to the electrical grid. The different simulation results show that, the electrical power flow from the DS generator system feed into the electrical grid side. This model equations isable to be used for experimental future implementation work in ourresearch laboratory.
