Simulation of impact of sea clutter to radar detecting performance

This paper builds a electromagnetic scatter model of sea clutter. Many sea elements, such as multipath effect, wind velocity and wind direction, are considered in this model. RCS of sea clutter for different sea state can be computed through this model. In the background of sea clutter, the performance of ship based radar is simulated in this paper. According to simulation data, the conclusion of the impact of sea clutter is drawn.
