Abstract :
There exist some kinds of sequential patterns in several supply chain echelons, such as production, distribution, etc. The Bill of materials is a simple static example of such cases, which has multiple levels but is dependent on the time in the production stage. Sequential patterns mining from large business database is a hot topic in database system and modern business management. Previous work was focused on searching efficient algorithms of mining sequential patterns. Since most of the algorithms need to scan the database for many times, this cannot be resisted because the size of the database is often very large. In the paper, we first give the modeling description of the distribution stage in supply chain, and then discuss the necessary of the sequential pattern mining. Finally, an effective algorithm in the solution of mining sequential patterns is introduced.
