Abstract
To minimize the serial search code acquisition time of DS SS receiver a new search strategy, false acquisition memory for reduction of the number of individual tests of an acquisition process is introduced. The proposed strategy is a modification of the conventional straight-line search one. As a detector, a single-dwell noncoherent correlator is utilized.
