Youth technical program at EMC 2014

W hat a BUZZ! Ed Hare (also known as W1RFI) from ARRL (The national association for AMATEUR RADIO), had the participants buzzing with excitement. Everyone was enthusiastic about Ed´s talk on Amateur Radio and electric circuits - they all had a super time building tunable electronic buzzers. The electronic kits were a great success and each of the participants seemed to find their own way of making different sounds - not to mention Ed´s insistence on supplementing the electronic tones with the chair pillow cushion sounds. In addition to the circuit building, several of the participants also tuned in to amateur radio and were guided along the wonderful path to becoming HAMs.
