  • Abstract
    Complete radiation pattern of a focus-fed offset paraboloid is presented. Forward radiation is computed by physical optics, and wide-angle radiation is calculated by using the geometrical theory of diffraction (GTD). The presented formulation is also capable of calculating the patterns of symmetric paraboloids. Effects of the offset angle and the feed pattern asymmetry on the cross-polar isolation are presented.
