Abstract
Whilst the method of measuring sound velocity by means of ultrasonics is used in many cases to estimate the state of concrete and its strength, failure of which may lead to an accidental of fall of concrete, the research of a cold joint by means of the measurement of ultrasonic attenuation is not common. The authors have therefore carried out an experimental study of the possibility of estimating the strength of concrete based on the characteristics of attenuation of ultrasonics in the cold joint layer
