Abstract :
The reasonable and optimal selection of modification coefficients of cylindrical gear pair having hard tooth flanks in a closed drive is beneficial to improving their properties, for example, the load capacity and scuffing load capacity, and so on. The optimization method of modification coefficients of cylindrical gear pair having hard tooth flanks in a closed drive based on the genetic algorithm is put forward. The method described is proved feasible by a given optimal design example.
