Abstract
A perturbation method of multiuser detection can cancel multiple access and intersymbol interference in CDMA systems. Higher order perturbation corrects more errors without incurring much more complexity. Results of simulating asynchronous CDMA and multi-path environments show that the 1- or 2-path MUD receiver outperforms RAKE receivers.
