Abstract
This paper discusses connections between the PID and adaptive controller with a neuro-fuzzy controller (NEFCON). The advantages and disadvantages of NEFCON are discussed. The results of this paper apply to a two-link robotic arm. The computer simulation shows that this technique is superior to conventional control techniques including PID and adaptive controllers.
