Abstract

A high, number of papers have been published on systems utilizing MIMO (multiple input-multiple output) techniques. Developing hardware real time simulators for MIMO channels is essential in evaluating the performances of signal processing algorithms for MIMO systems. We present a real time simulator platform for MIMO radio channel simulations. Due to real-time requirements a digital hardware-based implementation for an MIMO simulator together with controller software was pursued.
