Abstract
Experiments reveal that the additions of Ag and Au have dramatic effects on GMR multilayer magnetotransport properties and single layer surface morphology. To understand the layer-by-layer growth phenomenon of GMR multilayers, depending upon the nonferromagnetic conducting layer composition, multiple samples of each growth step have been deposited by using an RF diode sputter deposition system.
