Abstract
Proposes a closed-loop approach for the solution of the electrocardiographic inverse problem. An optimization algorithm is designed to recursively refine the inverse solutions. This method allows us to obtain detailed information on cardiac electric events under a realistic and inhomogeneous heart-torso model. Simulation results show that it is feasible to identify and localize electric events for patients suffering from the old anteriorseptal and the old inferior myocardial infarction.
