Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to clarify the relationship between the changes of event related potentials (ERP) caused by pictures´ stimulation and the subjects´ preference in the pictures. Our approach is to select six kinds of pictures of pets, to measure ERPs caused by the pictures, to analyze the characteristics like amplitude and latency of ERPs depending on the kinds of pictures and to assure whether ERPs can describe the subjects´ preference in pets´ pictures.
