Abstract
The capacity for an asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) system is determined in a network environment, including other typical services, such as ISDN, high-bit-rate DSL (HDSL) and E1 leased lines. Additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN), near-end crosstalk (NEXT) and far-end crosstalk (FEXT) are included as noise sources.
