Abstract :
Given in this paper is the notion of a numerical experiment, its prospects and possibilities as a powerful tool in studies of physics and microwave technology. The requirements for mathematical models and calculation procedures are stated. The author proposes an effective technique of digitization for numerical calculation of differential equations. Propagation of an H/sub 10/ wave in a non-regular waveguide with circular cross-section demonstrates the high efficiency of this method. Also, a variation-iteration gradient method for dynamic processes optimization is proposed. The examples of computer analysis in the field of microwave technology are given.
