  • Abstract
Broadband wireless systems, such as LMDS, are now emerging as a cost-effective means of providing a wide range of interactive services to subscribers worldwide. The hub antenna facilities are very important for the system efficiency. Such antennas must have a sharp sector far field pattern in the azimuth plane and cosecant shape in the elevation plane. A series of base station antennas for the LMDS system is presented. The description of antenna constructions and design methods of their key elements are given. The main functional parameters of the designed series are given.
