Abstract
Agent-oriented software design systems have been provided, such as MESSAGE system and FIPA model. But still there is no unambiguous definition for "agent". A general agent can be described in terms of autonomy, social ability, reactivity and proactivity, which, in turn, are implemented by the individual agent entity\´s capability, perception and introspection properties. With the simulation of the memory principle being the focus, this article builds a new architecture model to practice these properties. After researching former models, we provide a new model of an individual agent, named MyAgent, using the Z specification language. By simulating the person\´s memory action, this model improves on Goodwin\´s model. Since the interaction between agents and environment assumes more practical significance, we lay considerable emphasis on it while paying less attention to the reasoning of the mutual perception between agents.
