Abstract :
With the explosion of XML (extensive Markup Language) technologies, there is a corresponding explosion of solutions for XML data management. The paper presents an efficient XML data model, and strategies for storing XML documents. The method is independent of the presence of XML document DTDs; schema of information is automatically available after the decomposition. The data model can reduce the data volume during querying. Experiments show that the approach has great advantage compared with traditional relational DBMS models.
