Abstract
Based on the concept of apparent Earth conductivity (σk), this paper provides a point of view that σk depends on the ρk value measured from only a power-supply polar distance (AB) by the four-electrode method, then an AB polar distance template for measuring σk in the non-uniform stratum is developed. The test results prove that the new method is feasible in the aspect of technology, and it has the significance of obviously improving work efficiency and working quality.
