Abstract
Today, in CBS (computer based systems) practice it is well understood that system engineering (SE) is an important part of the design and implementation process. In recent years, various research works carried out analysis of different SE aspects. Unfortunately, little attention has been given to the problem of purchaser involvement in the process of CBS design and implementation. The design and implementation process of CBS can generate a lot of misunderstandings between the purchaser and the contractor. These misunderstandings increase the risk during the decision-making process, as well as project cost, and may even cause project failure. A more significant purchaser involvement in the design and implementation process creates a necessity for technical coordination of the purchaser teams.
