Abstract
A new LMS based Fourier analyzer for sinusoidal. signals with time-varying amplitude is proposed. The frequency response of the proposed algorithm in the steady state is derived in order to provide filtering insight of the proposed adaptive algorithm in the steady state. From numerical experiment, it is found that the proposed method can track each amplitude of cosine and sine signals much faster than the conventional LMS method.
