Abstract
A real multipath propagation model for radio transmission in a rectangular tunnel is presented. Tent law that describes the behavior of radio rays in a rectangular tunnel is introduced. Simulation results for both the traditional model and the new model are given. The new model is more accurate and practical for predicting the radio channel in a rectangular tunnel.
