Abstract :
In the DS (differentiated services) enabled networks, the ISPs (Internet service providers) should consider that the quality of the offered data transmission services correspond with the definitions of the established service level agreements (SLAs). Furthermore, the economic profit aims of the ISPs should also be fulfilled. We describe a SLA management system for the IP domains of the ISPs. The system considers the requirements of the ISPs customers and the profit aims of the ISPs without knowing the data transmission resources of the network environment. The operations of the system are based on the use of the mamdani type of fuzzy controller.
