Abstract
This paper presents a novel approach to design positioning and motion damping controllers by means of thruster actuations for large-scale interconnected marine structures. A locally multiobjective H2 and H∞ state-feedback controller is proposed. Performance of the proposed controller is demonstrated by numerical simulations of 3 interconnected semi-submersibles.
