Abstract
In this paper, the authors will first discuss problems the authors discovered as they tested a multi-user distance learning system (Virtual School) using virtual space that they developed. Based on the problems, we will conduct an examination of the interface and methods for developing learning materials. Next we will suggest a framework to be used to construct a learning environment utilizing virtual space with this comprehensive system. As a model for developing learning materials utilizing this framework, they report on its effectiveness from the point of view of how much it costs to create the learning materials.
