Abstract :
We present a new self-pumped all-fiber wavelength converter based on the broad band orthogonal pumps technique. Measurements of the conversion efficiency were made over a wide tuning range. The converter proved to have good wavelength conversion efficiencies allied to a highly cost effective architecture due to the all-fiber implementation.
