Abstract
The paper is concerned with the simple design method of switching control for nonlinear processes. The proposed method approximates nonlinear processes by the set of plural linear systems the dynamic characteristics of which is switched sectionally, and performs state estimation using multiple observers. Using a performance index that consists of output errors, a supervisor performs switching of a suitable model and controller.
