Abstract
There are two methods to improve the tracking performance of an α-β filter for radar tracking. The first method is to improve the measurement accuracy. The second method is to increase the track update-sampling rate. We conclude that the tracking performance of the second method is better when the radar resources allocated for tracking are the same.
