Abstract
Some stroke patients cannot dorsiflex and extorse their ankle joints in the swing phase during gait. As a result, their gaits show abnormal. In this study, 2-channels gait assist electrical stimulator was developed. It delivered electrical stimulations to tibialis anterior muscle (TA) and common peroneal nerve in proportion to the electromyogram of TA in order to dorsiflex with extorsion properly.
