  • Abstract
In this paper, we apply the method of ethical conflict resolution modeling using group disutility functions. The alternative sites of the location of a new refuse incineration plant are settled in the existing two adjacent cities in Japan, and the alternatives are evaluated by using the multi-attribute disutility function. The two-attribute group disutility function for the representative of each city is evaluated. Then, the two-attribute group disutility functions for two conflicting decision makers are constructed taking into account the property of utility independence and/or convex dependence between them. It is shown that the mutual concessions of the two conflicting agents can be modeled into account ethical preference of each decision maker.
