Abstract
In supply chain, it is essential for the partners to develop a collaborative relationship. Unfortunately there is no quantitative principle for the construction of such relationship yet. Thus, enterprise collaborative system (ECS) is proposed to study such questions. We suggest that ECS should be studied from four levels: collaboration mechanism, management mode, operation pattern and support system. The research architecture is presented. Mathematical modeling and computational simulation are adopted as the research methods. Some theory progresses are presented. And the supply chain simulation software is introduced.
