Abstract
A precise numerical method is presented for calculation of the temperature coefficient of a dielectric ring placed coaxially in a cylindrical waveguide cavity. In this method, a simple but general and flexible method based on the first degree finite element basic function is used to calculate resonant frequency variations due to various parameters of resonators. Using this method, the quality factor of the resonator can also be easily calculated.
